NB COPES Memorial in Recognition of Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Day

The loss of a baby either during pregnancy or after birth has many devastating affects on families. It is important for society to recognize these losses and the impact they have on lives, irrespective of when the loss occurred. Families who have experienced infant or pregnancy loss require compassion, and support. A large piece of this awareness campaign is to encourage decision makers to develop sustainable support services for bereaved parents within our communities.
The memorial will include a couple of readings, music and a candlelit walk around King’s Square. We ask that participants wear a mask and follow all Public Health Guidelines.
