8th Annual Halifax Walk to Remember

Every day, a family in Nova Scotia experiences the pain of losing a child as a result of miscarriage, stillbirth or neonatal loss. To honour those little lives lost, parents and families will be taking to the streets to participate in Halifax’s eight annual Walk to Remember on Sunday, October 16th at 2 p.m. at the Dr. Richard B. Goldbloom Research and Clinical Care Pavilion, IWK Health Centre, 5980/5850 University Ave., Halifax. A reception will be held following the Walk. Participation is free, however we are asking all participants to make a donation to the Halifax Walk to Remember. Donations can be made in memory of a child and will be tax deductible. Each year the Walk will be held close to October 15th to coincide with Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Day that was recently proclaimed by the Government of Nova Scotia. There will be no registration this year, however we are asking participants to arrive at 1:30pm to sign in.
